Among the first signs of Spring are snowdrops giving a promise of what is on the way, delicate white flowers that bloom even when frost still lingers. On the 7th and 8th February Knowle hill farm opened to show off the 140+ varieties.
We are lucky enough to help with Garden maintenance in the is wonderful Kent garden.

The weather was up and down on the Saturday and due to the bad weather parking was a little limited so pre booking tickets was essential. This did not stop visitors. However a dry day on the Sunday meant for a wonderful turnout with many walking from local areas. Tea and cakes made by local neighbours and friends really went down well, with all proceeds going to charity.
The Charm of Snowdrops
Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) are among the earliest flowers to bloom each year, often pushing through snow and frozen ground. These flowers have a simple beauty that contrasts with the current harsh weather conditions we are currently experiencing.
Future openings at Knowle Hill Farm National Garden Scheme events
There is a second opening weekend on 18th and 19th July 2026 whereby the garden can be seen with a new lease of life showcasing its perennials, roses and beautiful views.
